Fidel Castro steps down as president of Cuba after long tenure
The announcement put Raúl Castro in position to be selected as the head of state when the National Assembly meets Sunday, cementing the power structure that has run the country since Castro fell ill.

Cuba Si, Castro No... Well, Sorta....
Wow... who'd've thought? This should be interesting. Laughed when the shrub said they could have free n fair elections... something he knows nowt about, as we haven't had one in ages, and no doubt won't for a good while. They want the illegal, immoral, legal black hole torture base property back from the US, which made shrub's comment all the more surprising. I hope this development helps the cubanos...
