1937 Vancouver City Hall UFO

A Google Alert for 'UFO' brought this picture back from the dark recesses of my brainpan. UFODigest has dusted it off for us. I have seen this before, of course, always liked it, especially since it's so old. It does look remarkably like the object in the 14th century painting referenced in the article. Be sure to see the important work of Antonio Huneeus into the hunt for ancient saucers in paintings and texts... excellent stuff.

Ig as nattering nabob of... something.

On a rare prompting from a friend I logged into my myspace (a rare event in itself!) to read one real message and delete 6 dating and nigerian money scam messages and delete tanning ads rudely posted by some young lady in nearby Norwalk disguised as 4 "bulletins" from a wannabe "friend." LOL. Norwalk is full of social high strangeness...

Sorry 'bout that... anyway if any of my sites performed like myspace... I'd get sued, guaranteed! Good God... I don't understand it's popularity in reference to that... over 80% error pages after a minute to get there.

Mr. Ernesto did a number on my apple tree... and made a wee hole in the roof, otherwise I didn't really even notice the lad and was genuinely surprised by my backyard. Then again I did sleep through CT's last earthquake... so perhaps it's to be expected!

Google Analytics (a very awesome thing, indeed) insists that 21% of my site's visitors return... (no, not this one ;)) that's absolutely amazing! Especially as I am very slightly less careful with it than my client's. Retweaked it today for Explorer display. Rewriting helped a lot... although I seem to do better writing other people's sites than I do my own. The Lumix is in doubt... ooh man that Leica lens doth beckon so! But... but...

Well networking season is back on so perhaps pleasant things will happen. Gettin' better at it!

Everyone please pray for Mike Frizzell's total recovery. Next month I get to see Antonio Huneeus before he splits the scene for far-away places... it will be sad for me, he's a really good guy, a superb no-BS ufologist, and a friend, we've done a fair bit of hanging out... bummer, man, seriously... at least the drive down and back with Doug and Tom should be a hoot... maybe I can get Puca to ride as well. Might be easier than getting him to post something! Ig starts muttering at that but it quickly trails off to inaudibility...

Phyllis G. at FATE very kindly published another essay of mine. Shocking, no? Yes it is. A client suggested I might concentrate on writing... maybe, don't know... the wacky radiation dudes seem to dig it... so maybe. But what about After Effects... and Photoshop... and... Dreamweaver... and... hey, I just bought a file recovery program that refuses to launch! Cool, huh? They are trying to help, though.

Well the network's jumpy and I've rattled on too much... back to the postcard...

Ta!

9/11 In Plane Site - The Director's Cut

This groundbreaking documentary by Dave vonKleist of the Power Hour radio show addresses the evidence that lead to the conclusion that 9/11 was an inside job. Using photographic and video evidence, vonKleist brings you through all of the unseen evidence.
------- -------- --------
This is an excellent film. One of the first documentaries produced, it continues to have an impact. It should inspire people to look into things for themselves. I have found that the deeper one looks into any area of interest regarding these events, one is invariably amazed by the amount and quality of evidence there is to behold. For me, following the flight path of 'Flight 93' on Google Earth to visualize the work of researchers at team8+ proved to be most thought provoking, and more than a bit eerie.

'Bosnian Pyramid' Doubts | TDG - Science, Magick, Myth and History

'Bosnian Pyramid' Doubts | TDG - Science, Magick, Myth and History

This article is from Dr. Collette M. Dowell's blog. She is working along with Dr. Robert Schoch on this very interesting formation, which I haven't really kept up on enough. Many of our readers come in search of the Bosnian pyramids, so I was glad to see this report, finally, so I could add something to results. It's from early May. Bummer that it doesn't seem to be a "real" pyramid. There is a lot of material on these sites about the situation... well worth your time.

UFO over NYC

"UFOs over New York and I ain't too surprised." says the Clip-a-Day poster.

Looks interesting, and it has the seemingly requisite out-of-focus quality so ubiquitous in forteana. Most of the labels folks assigned to it were on the order of "fake" and quite a lot see it as a blimp. Maybe... well lit for a blimp. Why can't people focus thier cameras? Maybe to hide it's blimpness? Or maybe just bad eyesight. Anyway, have a look, it's only 43 seconds... and that's another thing... it would be a lot longer if I were filming it... what's up with that?

Soldier performing a pretty fascinating magic trick

Looks pretty legit, no strings visible as far as I can see.

I agree with the Clip-a-Day poster's description just above... rather intriguing!

Loose Change - 2nd Edition

Submitted by Sennheiser

I have decided that I should post this most excellent film so that more people will become aware of the extreme situation we as Americans are facing and which I pray our children will not have to live through.

It is an excellent overview of what happened on 9/11. Please watch it. It is an hour and twenty two minutes that will rock your world.

Be well,
Iggy

Apollo 11 'UFO' - Buzz Aldrin

Buzz Aldrin talks about the 'UFO' which the Apollo 11 crew saw on their way to the moon. He explains why they didn't describe it explicitly to Houston: “...those transmissions would be heard by all sorts of people and who knows what somebody would’ve demanded - we turn back because of aliens, or whatever the reason is.”

Dr David Baker, senior Apollo scientist: "The possibility that you might encounter aliens in space has to be considered in a very sensible and positive and realistic way; there were a lot of people within the program who went off later and became convinced that UFOs existed.”

Excerpted from “Apollo 11: The Untold Story”.

NASA: “I just talked to Buzz Aldrin...and he notes that the quotations were taken out of context and did not convey the intended meaning. After the...crew verified that it...was not the SIV-B upper stage...they concluded that they were probably seeing one of the panels from the separation of the spacecraft from the upper stage. These panels were not tracked from Earth and were likely much closer to the Apollo spacecraft....Apparently all of this discussion about the panels was cut from the broadcast interview, thus giving the impression that they had seen a UFO.” - David Morrison, NAI Senior Scientist, 7/26/06

---> Kinda figured they'd all get together and say something like that... to diffuse the effects of Mr. Aldrin's honesty, you see ;) That thingie "filmed on a later mission" is pretty cool looking, isn't it?

The Erin Brockovich of Lyme

Times Community Newspapers - Lyme disease: Facing Loudoun's silent epidemic

Fortean artist and sculptor Margarite d'Arsinoe, a survivor of the often mis-diagnosed Lyme disease sent this article along from Virginia, where the County of Loudoun is having more than it's share of trouble with the disease.

It would seem that if caught early on, treatment is not too awful, as my cousin, a professional gardener in backcountry Greenwich, CT can attest, having caught it at least a dozen times over the years... but many times the insidious infection doesn't display it's marker symptoms... causing delays and mis-diagnoses... and even then can give false test results... at which point it has become quite dangerous.

You should read this so you are aware, for yourself and others... it describes an effective treatment that will take 8 weeks of your time... and most likely save your life.

Bravo, Margarite, I'm glad you're well! Best wishes for great results in your efforts to educate us all.
